Life Skills and Job Readiness
This program focus on building essential life skills and preparing individuals for success in the workplace. Through hands-on activities, we teach practical skills such as cooking, cleaning, and managing personal finances. We also emphasize job readiness by guiding participants in understanding workplace expectations, communication, and time management. These therapeutic sessions are designed to empower individuals to live independently and confidently navigate both daily life and professional environments.
Individual and Group Counselling
1:1 Counselling:
Growing up can be challenging, and your child may experience stress, overwhelm, worry, or anger. Our therapists use a strength-based approach to build a professional rapport with your child, encouraging them to focus on their strengths to promote personal growth and positive change. Throughout the sessions, your child’s counsellor will facilitate open discussions, guiding them to identify their personal goals. After consulting with our team of professionals, the counsellor will continue to support your child by developing and implementing targeted intervention and treatment strategies.
Teen Squad:
This program is designed to build self-confidence and empower youth. Throughout the term, students will have a safe space to explore and address their emotions. Through a variety of activities and discussion topics, they will work with a counsellor to reflect on their everyday experiences and concerns while being encouraged to set personal goals that will help guide them into young adulthood.

Sibling Sessions
One of the most important relationships your child will have is with their sibling(s). Throughout these sessions, our staff will guide your children by modeling appropriate interactions and language, while supporting them in understanding how to effectively communicate with each other in their daily activities.
Sibling & Family Support Café
This program is designed for the siblings and family members of neurodivergent youth. During the workshops, participants are provided with a safe space to share common experiences, challenges, and goals while offering each other emotional, social, and practical support. The purpose of this support group is to foster a sense of community by sharing experiences, providing encouragement, and offering advice or resources to help participants cope with specific concerns. This workshop is open to the public, regardless of whether their sibling or family member attends Kids CAN
